Australian B2B business data by industry: 424,968 classified businesses across 41 verticals
If you sell to Australian trade and service businesses — builders, electricians, plumbers, civil contractors, transport operators — the quality of your prospect list is the ceiling on your revenue. A list with 30% stale ABNs and no industry classification is not a list. It is noise.
The data source
Every business in the catalogue is sourced from the Australian Business Register (ABR) public bulk dataset, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 Australia. The ABR is the authoritative record of Australian business entities — updated continuously by the ATO.
The 424,968 rows are active businesses — not cancelled, not individuals — classified to a specific industry vertical with a complete address and ANZSIC code.
What every row includes
ABN · ACN · legal entity name · trading name · entity type · suburb · LGA · region · state · postcode · ANZSIC code and title · trade category · GST status · years in business · eight propensity scores: fleet, software/CRM, marketing, equipment, insurance, PPE, recruitment, training.
